LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW

It took so long for the girls to figure out how to get gloves on that Brittlyn fell asleep before they even got to go outside to play in the new fallen snow.

Our first snow fall this year. The girls wanted to play outside all
day long. When we found all of the snow gear and found everything that
fit everyone it was time for the gloves. It seriously took us 20-30 minutes just
to figure out how the fingers go into the holes in the gloves. Talk about patience
I was so lucky that Derrick was home to help because after the first 15 minutes
I had had it. AAAAAAHH!!!! but a testiment to the saying "NEVER GIVE UP"
as you can see in the pictures we did get the gloves on and the kids were
happy to have warm hands.
This is Gracie and Morgan and one of our neighbors.

Up Close and Personal with the Moose

As you all know with Derrick being a Wildlife Biologist he spends most of his time outdoors in the mountains. He is very fortunate to see alot of neat things. Here are a few pictures of the moose he saw this week. He was able to get within 10-20 yards of these. I really enjoy seeing moose. I think that they are such a neat animal. We are lucky to live in an area where we are very close to the wilderness.

This moose has broken ears. I am not sure why
or how they got that way but it is kind of funny...

3 for 3 on 4 points in Colorado

Derrick and his Brothers were able to go hunting in Colorado this year. They had a great time and came home successful. They started out a little worried as the temperatures were warm and the deer had not started moving yet. well come mid week the temperatures dropped to about 0 degrees and the snow began to fall. Crappy for camping but great for hunting. Here are some pictures of the happy hunters.
