LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW

It took so long for the girls to figure out how to get gloves on that Brittlyn fell asleep before they even got to go outside to play in the new fallen snow.

Our first snow fall this year. The girls wanted to play outside all
day long. When we found all of the snow gear and found everything that
fit everyone it was time for the gloves. It seriously took us 20-30 minutes just
to figure out how the fingers go into the holes in the gloves. Talk about patience
I was so lucky that Derrick was home to help because after the first 15 minutes
I had had it. AAAAAAHH!!!! but a testiment to the saying "NEVER GIVE UP"
as you can see in the pictures we did get the gloves on and the kids were
happy to have warm hands.
This is Gracie and Morgan and one of our neighbors.

Up Close and Personal with the Moose

As you all know with Derrick being a Wildlife Biologist he spends most of his time outdoors in the mountains. He is very fortunate to see alot of neat things. Here are a few pictures of the moose he saw this week. He was able to get within 10-20 yards of these. I really enjoy seeing moose. I think that they are such a neat animal. We are lucky to live in an area where we are very close to the wilderness.

This moose has broken ears. I am not sure why
or how they got that way but it is kind of funny...

3 for 3 on 4 points in Colorado

Derrick and his Brothers were able to go hunting in Colorado this year. They had a great time and came home successful. They started out a little worried as the temperatures were warm and the deer had not started moving yet. well come mid week the temperatures dropped to about 0 degrees and the snow began to fall. Crappy for camping but great for hunting. Here are some pictures of the happy hunters.

We had so many leaves on our front lawn that I had to get the girls dressed to get some pictures. I was hoping but not planning on them turning out so well. Now it is hard to decide which ones that I want to use. Here are just a few.

Gracie Age 4 almost 5

Morgan Age 3 1/2

Brittlyn Age 1 1/2

What good friends my girls are. I am so happy that they get along so well. I truely am so thankful to be a mom.

EVERYBODY POSE
CUTE PICTURES OUT IN THE YARD
WITH THE KIDS FROM PRESCHOOL
Running back to the car after a visit

Getting to our first house (a practice house)

Here are some pictures from our Halloween party at preschool. I don't know if I have mentioned that I am teaching preschool this year. We are having a great time. There are just 6 little girls that come (including my 2). For our Halloween party we decided to take some elderly people that live by us some treats. The girls memorized the following poem and we shared it along with a bag of goodies. I think that our visit was very much appreciated. Now with trunk or treat some of these people don't get any trick or treaters so I was glad that we could go visit them in our costumes.

We have come to warn you to not be scared
Halloween is coming so be prepared.
Witches and ghosts and goblins too
may come out at night to try and scare you.
It's one night a year, So please don't you fear
Cause, where there's a costume a kid's always near.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This year I drew a muzzleloader tag for the Book Cliffs. Derrick and I were able to go and leave the kids with grandma and grandpa. We had a great time however, I must admit that I sure got homesick and missing the girls just about dark every night.
Hunting the Book cliffs was way fun. We saw deer everywhere. It was just a matter of deciding which one you wanted to shoot. We spotted this one while following some smaller bucks. As soon as I saw it I new that was the one I wanted. It took a bit to talk Derrick into letting me shoot and "several" shots later this is what we had. A 26" 4X5 it scores 170 and I am just way excited to finally have a wall hanger.

We had a Halloween party for our playgroup a couple weeks ago.
We didn't have our costumes yet so we borrowed some from the
neighbors. In the first picture we have a prissy fairy princess,
a drunk cowgirl and a skeleton rapper. The second picture turned
out a little better. The other little girl is a girl that we tend.
She is Mickey Mouse.

We Have these little Black and Orange Caterpillars everywhere.
The kids were having so much fun finding them all over the
grass. Brittlyn was a little ruff on them but I think they all
survived.

Did Someone Say Swim Time

Derrick came home from work one day with a swimming pool. The girls have loved it. Their swimming suits have become pretty much a daily outfit. It's the first thing they ask for every morning.

Showing off a big CHEESE and of course her new swimsuit.

Brittlyn loves the water. The hose has become her personal water fountain and pool toy. Could this be what caused her dirarea!!! Just kidding

Having lunch on the front porch. Nothing beats PB&J in the Summer time.

Welcome to our Blog

We are so excited to explore the blogging world. I am sure things will be a little rough for a while until I get the hang of things.
This is our most recent kid picture. Gracie 4 Morgan 3 and Brittlyn 1.
We took these pictures at Gayles house and by the end of the day we had wished that we would have just went to kiddie kandids. (WE WERE STRESSED)
